If it were then we would'nt have had so many rounds of Interviews in companies.But that doesnt mean you have to make your first impression a bad one. The first Impression often stays in people mind because they are meeting that person for the first time or interacting with the person the first time through E-Mail/Chat/Telephone. If that person Seems Rude the first time when he is a very nice human being it could be because he having a bad nice or if a person is flirting with a person of the opposite gender when they interact for the first time the flirt could actually be nice with a heart of gold. Now If a person could pretend to be really sweet when actually the person could be manipulative or using you still through the first impression you would think otherwise.
