"Good Deeds Always Bring Unexpected Rewards"
Last night as I was walking through the metro station, I saw my best friend not too far away. I waved at her. She did not seem to notice at first but then her eyes fell on me and she came running to me. Her face was sweating badly and she was panting furiously. I asked her what happened. She asked me for some money in a pleading tone. She told me that her purse was stolen so she had no money left to go back home. She was scared and alone.
I instinctively took out some cash and handed it over to her, smiling reassuringly. She smiled back gratefully at me and hurried off to buy her ticket. Then we went home together. It felt so good that I was very happy.
But when I reached home I heard a concerning news. My dog got into a road accident. I was very sad and started crying. As soon as my mother saw me, she rushed to me and told me my pet dog was absolutely fine. I wondered how it could happen.
She explained to me and told me that a man rescued my dog from getting hit. He even took pain to take him back to our house. It warmed my heart that my dog was safe and sound. I remembered how I had helped my distressed best friend and realized kind deeds bring unexpected rewards.
