I lived on the 3rf floor of a 5 storey apartment near the beach. It was a bright summer evening, and I have my board test the next day after the earthquake. I was preparing for my exam and suddenly my mother asked me to pour some milk on the boiling pan to prepare coffee. So when I went and started pouring milk on the pan and suddenly my pan started moving but at that time I didn’t feel like it was an earthquake, cuz it's my first earthquake. I just dumped it and came to my room. In a few seconds, there were plenty of vibrations and all my neighbours were screaming.
Immediately my mother asked me to turn off the stove and she started collecting all the important docs, attire and some money in a bag and asked me to turn off the main power supply. Then we both got down and slept under the big bench. 10 minutes later Dad came from the office and took us to a safe place.
It was a very scary and horrible situation for us during the earthquake, but somehow by the grace of God, my family and I got out of such a horrible situation. And safely went to attend my exams the next day.
