Answer:

H2PO3

Explanation:

Since, In 100gm 2.27gm H, 38.25gm P and 59.28gm O are present.

Now

Number of moles of each element

n(H) = 2.27÷1= 2.27

n (P) = 38.25÷31 = 1.233

n(O) = 59.28÷16 = 3.705

Divide the number of moles of each element by 1.233

Now,

n(H) = 2.27÷1.233 = 1.84 ( approximately 2)

n(P) = 1.233÷1.233 = 1

n(O) = 3.705 ÷ 1.233 = 3

So, Molecular Formula is H2PO3.
