I am going to interpret ‘asha’ as acid.

Materials required:

2 beakers, electrodes, distilled water, battery, galvanometer, glucose and alcohol.

Procedure:

Mix glucose and water in one beaker and alcohol and water in another.

Immerse two electrodes in each beaker and connect them in a circuit containing a battery and galvanometer.

Close the circuit to let current flow.

Observation:

No deflection is observed in the galvanometers.

Inference:

Electric current does not pass through glucose and alcohol solutions due to absence of ions.

According to Arrhenius theory, a substance is an acid if it dissociates into ions of hydrogen in an aqueous medium.

Thus, glucose and alcohol are not acids as they don’t dissociate into ions.
