Pollen of Acacia auriculaeformis, Asclepias curassavica, Calliandra surinamensis, Enterolobium saman, Hoya lacunosa, Mimosa pudica, Nepenthes ampullaria, and Pithecellobium dulce were used to study germination in vitro.

Answer:

Juncus or Cryptostegia

Juncus or CryptostegiaFailure of the pollen grains to separate from the tetrads is the cause for the formation of compound pollen grains and they occur in more than 56 families of angiosperms. The microspores are separated from the tetrads into individual pollen grains. But in some cases as in Juncus and Cryptostegia, the microspores do not separate from each other and hence compound pollen grains are formed.
