compound suchs as alcohols and glucose also contain hydrogen but are not categorised as acids. describe an activity to prove it. ​

Answer:

Acids Acc. to Arrhenius Concept are those which give H+ or ion when dissolve in water.

But Alchol do not give H+ nor OH- .So it neither Acid nor a base.

It is an Aliphatic Compound in which H is replaced by OH group.

Same is the case with Glucose.
