compounds are substances formed by a chemical reaction which also created mass . the law of conservation of mass states that mass cannot be created or destroyed . so how is this possible ????​

The reacting substances,in the process of forming compounds in turn lose their own mass because they are undergoing reaction.

And this mass is the mass of the compound that is formed.

Just take an example,when copper and chlorine are being reacted,will u get the same amount of both copper and chlorine after the reaction????
