compounds are substances formed by a chemical reaction which also created mass . the law of conservation of mass states that mass cannot be created or destroyed . so how is this possible ????

And this mass is the mass of the compound that is formed.
Just take an example,when copper and chlorine are being reacted,will u get the same amount of both copper and chlorine after the reaction????
