Because they don't furnish Hydrogen ions in it's aqueous state and hence are not categorised as an acid.

Explanation:

The aquous solution of glucose and alcohol do not show acidic character because their hydrogen does not separate out as hydrogen ions[H+(aq) ions] on dissolving in water. Hence, they do not conduct electricity.
