Formula used :-
A1V1 = A2V2
P1 + 1/2 S V1 ² = P2 + 1/2 S V 2²

The blood pressure of the blood flowing through an artery the radius of which is constricted by a factor of 3.
The average flow velocity in the unconstricted region is 50 cm/sec .
So , A1 V1 = A2 V2
πr1² × V1 = π(r1/3)² × V2
V2 = 9V1
Now ,
=> P1 + 1/2 S U1² = P2 + 1/2 SV2²
=> P1 - P2 = 1/2 S ( V2² - V1² )
=> 40 s × ( 1/2)²
=> 10 s Answer
