(i) {2}^{3}  \times  {2}^{6} =  {2}^{3 + 6}  \\  =  {2}^{9}
(ii) {( - 4)}^{5}  \times  {( - 4)}^{2}  =  {( - 4)}^{5 + 2} \\  =  {( -4)}^{7}
(iii) {3}^{4}  \times  {3}^{6}  =  {3}^{4 + 6}  \\  =  {3}^{10}
(iv) {( - 1)}^{5}  \times  {( - 1)}^{4} =  {( - 1)}^{5 + 4}   \\  =  {( - 1)}^{9}

(i) 2³ × 2⁶

=>  {2}^{3+6}

=> 2⁹

(ii) (-4)⁵ × (-4)²

=>  {(-4)}^{5+2}

=> (-4)⁷

(iii) 3⁴ × 3⁶

=>  {3}^{4+6}

=> 3¹⁰

(iv) (-1)⁵ × (-1)⁴

=>  {(-1)}^{5+4}

=> (-1)⁹
