Concave mirror is used in headlights of vehicles.. because this mirror converge the light rays comming frm the focus(ie, bulb is fitted at the focus of the mirror) will be reflected back in the form of long parallel rays...

this will provide the rider with a clear, magnified, virtual image of the vehicle behind. the vehicle is closer than it seems.
