Concentration of Copper Ore is done by The method of Froth Flotation

This Method is based on Two opposite Property namely hydrophobic and hydrophilic

1. As copper has has hydrophobic property so it gets wetted with oil and move upward forming Foam with Pine oil and can be separated easily

2. Due to hydrophilic property of gangue it get wetted with water an moves in downward direction in the tank and can be collected easily
