10x2=20
20x3=60
30x(x)=30x
2+3+x=5+x

(20+60+30x)/(5+x)=23
x=5

Value of x = 5

Step-by-step explanation:

Concentration of three wines a, b and c are 10%, 20% and 30% respectively. they are mixed in the ratio of 2:3:x

Let say wines a , b  & c are mixed in

20k  , 30k   &  10kx

Total mixture = 20k + 30k + 10kx  = 10k(5 + x)

Wines are

a = (10/100)20k  = 2k

b = (20/100)30k = 6k

c = (30/100)10kx =  3kx

Total wine = 2k + 6k + 3k x   = k(8 + 3x)

resulting in a 23% concentration of solution

=>  100 * k(8 + 3x) / 10k(5 + x)   = 23

=> 10(8 + 3x) = 23(5 + x)

=> 80 + 30x = 115 + 23x

=> 7x = 35

=> x = 5

Value of x = 5
