To find the direction of current :-
In straight current carrying wire:-
Use right hand rule. It states that when you curl your fingers of your right hand along the arrows of concentric lines then the thumb gives the direction of the current in the straight wire.
Like in the question you mentioned above if you curl your fingers clockwise like of the concentric lines arrow your thumb will point downward i.e. in the direction of A to B.

Answer:
(c) current flows from A to B
Explanation:
(c) current flows from A to B
By pointing your right-hand thumb in the direction of current, the right-hand fingers will curl counterclockwise, resulting in a counterclockwise magnetic field.
To determine the direction of the current:
In the case of a straight current carrying wire:
-Apply the right-hand rule. It is stated that when you curl your right hand's fingers along the arrows of concentric lines, the thumb indicates the direction of the current in the straight wire.
As in the previous question, if you curl your fingers clockwise in the direction of the concentric lines arrow, your thumb will point downward, i.e. in the direction of A to B.
