Corrosion = Damages of tissues or something , in terms of chemistry Destruction or Damage to materials (say metals) due to Electrochemical reaction continuously going on.

Concept = Basically , Corrosion is the electrochemical oxidation reaction of metals or like materials with oxygen or likewise oxidants forming metal oxides called rusting.

Prevention = Corrosion can be cured by adding a layer on it to disconnect it's (metals) connections with oxidants. Usually used Paints , Oils.

2nd method is mixing the Corrosiong material with less or non reactive material.
