To: Editor of newspaper
Subject: Protection of trees
Dear Sir,
Hope this letter finds you well. I am writing this letter to bring your attention to choking of trees in our locality. I am writing to express my concern at choking of trees due to indiscriminate building of pavement. Trees are lifeline of the nation. They provide us shadow. Without trees life would be impossible. The government must have to take steps to prevent the trees from dying. They have to focus on planting trees instead of vast buildings. Kindly raise this issue through your newspaper. That’s very kind of you.
Regards,
Hope it helped.............

Sub : Cutting of trees for building malls, pavements
Sir,
I shall be highly thankful if you kindly allow me a little space in the columns of your esteemed daily to lodge my complaint against indiscriminately cutting of trees to build malls, flats, pavements in our state.
We all know very well about the importance of trees in our lives. It doesn't need to explain again and again. Still awareness is not seen among the so called educated persons. They are feeling proud of their modern technology. But do they don't know what would happen for random deforestation? It has been a regular sight of cutting trees to set up tall buildings, malls etc. What is the role of Govt. here? Why do they permit to do so? Now, it is the time to protest and save the green.
I would like to request the authority concerned to take measure steps to stop this inhuman act. Rules and laws should be much strict. And if one tree is cut then two should be plant there. And, an awareness campaign should be started in right earnest without further delay.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
