SQUARE → If a number is multiplied by itself, the product so obtained is called the square of that number. it is a number rised to power 2.

Thus, 7 ×7=7² = 49, 49 is a square of 7. the number 7 is called the SQUARE ROOT of 49.

If a number m can be expressed as n²,where n is also a natural number, then m is a square number.

All the square numbers end with 0,1,4,6 or 9 at units palace.

Square numbers can only have even number of zeros at the end.

There are two intergal square roots of a perfect square number.

Positive square root of a number is denoted by the symbol
