Vijayanagara and Bahamani Kingdoms

Vijayanagare Empire as well as Bahamani Kingdom are known be as important in Indian history.

Vijaynagar Empire (1336 to 1672 A.D) was ruled over by four lineages. Although Bahmani Kingdom was founded by Alauddin Bahman Shah who was also known as Hasan Gangu, in 1347.

14 Sultans has governed the kingdom. It has been developed the most, under the advice of Mahmud Gawan who was the Chief Minister of the kingdom.

Initiated a strong rule with nearly 18 kings for about 200 years, the Southern Emperor Krishnadeva Raya conquered and has beaten the last ruler of Bahmani Empire after which it fell apart into 5 states around 1518 AD.
