Chief Seattle was a well-known Indian of the Pacific North-west. He was famous for his oration and he was a diplomat. He was the leader of the Squamish tribe. He strived a lot for the unity of the distinct tribes. When there occurred conquering of lands in the world, his brilliant words of Earth, Water and Air gave enlightened the minds of the people.  

He clearly stated that the earth does not belong to man, whereas man belongs to the earth. As we never own the earth, water and air, then how it can be sold. These kinds of thoughts of Chief Seattle spread all over the world. He suffered from fever in his old age and died. But, his intellectual thoughts still live with us and renovate the clumsy minds of the materialistic people.
