Most of the social problems still exist because people are ignorant of its consequences. The Govt. and NGO's must work together to eliminate the social issues from society by educating the people through awareness programmes.
Recognition of social issues is the first step to find solutions. Most of the issues are due to lack of awareness and could be addressed through sensitization programmes from the govt.
Since, many social issues like sati, untouchability etc. have been dealt successfully in past.
