Explanation:

The Swadeshi movement was started in order to protest against the partition of Bengal. The Swadeshi movement was started by Hindus because they were unhappy from the partition of Bengal. The reason behind their outrage was that half of the Hindu property was given to Muslims. Muslims were satisfied with this decision because now they could live peacefully and they don't have to compete with Hindu landowners. However, on the other hand, Hindus were not pleased because half of their land was given to Muslims. In the Swadeshi movement, Hindus boycotted British goods which badly affected the British. Hindu protested all over India and they also tried to kill Lord Minto. That's why in 1911 Lord Minto reversed the partition of Bengal. This was the result of the Swadeshi movement. However, the reversal of the partition of Bengal made Muslims question their rulers(British) about their loyalty and kindness.
