Answer:

Conclusion for the lesson On the Face of It

Explanation:

The play ends abruptly and unexpectedly while Derry can be seen trying to scream telling Mr Lamb that he has come back. From the circumstantial evidence it is evident that Mr Lamb has died from falling. However, he may also have lost sense because the ladder slipped with a creaking sound and it was not a straight fall from the apple tree. If ever Mr Lamb has died or alive this makes no sense in the play at all because the largest philosophy that he had passed on to Derry had become fruitful. It was his practical aspect of the lesson he had learnt from Lamb that broke the stereotype and evolve as an open thinker by disobeying his mother. The veritable purpose of the playwright was over with an apt conclusion that forces the reader to think solemnly after the tragic incident.
