The story ends with a big confusion between Muni and his wife. Muni said to his wife that the foreigner gave him the 100 rs for selling the two goats to him. But actually the money was given for the selling of the horse statue to the foreigner which Muni didn't understand. And after Muni came back home his goats also came back . Like this the story ends.

Answer:
A horse and two goats is a comic story where the inability of Muni and the foreigner to comprehend each other's languages adds to the humour in the story. Moreover, Muni's wife's disbelief in him and it being strengthed when the goats come back also delights the readers. Thus, the story ends in a comic tone when Muni's wife declares sarcastically that she would go away to her parents.
