The General Assembly:-

• It is the most important organ of UNO . UNO carry the weight of world opinion on major international issues and also major authority of world community.
• All the member of UNO are member of General Assembly.
• Each state has 5 assembly in General Assembly but each state has one vote.
• The regular session of General Assembly begins every year on third Tuesday in September till 3 weeks of December.

Conclusions of General Assembly :-

• Decision on important matters which are made by 2/3 majority .
• Decision on the questions made by majority of members present and voting .
• The Assembly is empowered to consider the matter immediately with view of making recommendations to the members.
• Appointment of Secretary - General of security Council.
• Provide international peace and security.
• Discussion of any question related to international peace and security.
• Election of non-parliament members of security council.
