The issue of reservation has remained a cause of disagreement

i) Reserved section of the society.

ii) Non- reserved sections of the society.

The neediest sections from within the reserved segments are hardly aware about how to get benefited from the provision or even whether there are such provisions.

I don’t see any possibility of ending the caste-based reservation system in India in near future.

There is no political party in India which is against the caste-based reservation. No political party is even willing to discuss this issue of removing reservation in public domain. Hence, it is highly unlikely that any government in Centre or State is going to ever plan for elimination of reservation policy.

The caste based reservation can be eliminated only when the caste sensibility of people is reduced in India. This is also not happening since all political parties are exploiting the caste feelings of Indians and further dividing them on caste-lines.
