The kingdom plantae consists of an eukaryotic chlorophyll containing organisms, there cell wall contains cellulose and they r autotrophic in nature.

Plant kingdom is further divided into 5 division namely Thallophyta , bryophytes , pteridophytes, gymnosperm, angiosperms.

1) thallophyta : they consists of algae, mostly aquatic, autotrophic in nature, and are chlorophyll bearing plants, thalloid body (not differentiated.

2) bryophytes : consists of Mosses, and are know as the amphibians of the plant kingdom, body is differentiated but lack real root stem, leaves.

3)Pteridophytes : consists of ferns, first terrestial plant to possess vascular tissue, body is differentiated into true root, stem , leaves.

4) Gymnosperm : they bear naked seeds.

5) Angiosperm : known as flowering plant and have seeds enclosed in fruits
