Answer:
Three- dimensional shapes have three dimensions, namely length, breadth and height. We get height when we extrude a line perpendicular to any vertice of a two-dimensional object. Thus, height is the third dimension. All objects which we can touch and feel are 3-D. We can't detect superior dimensions, like the fourth and >3 dimensions, and very lower dimensions ,such as the first and zeroth dimension. However, we can see two dimensions, like the images we see on a TV screen, or projected images.
Three-dimensional objects have volume, lateral surface area and total surface area. They are very significant in our day-to-day life.
