The concurrent list is basically a list of 52 items (though the last item is numbered 47) given in the Seventh Schedule to the Constitution of India. The Union Government along with the State possess the power to legislate on the subjects mentioned in the list. One thing you need to know is that, though the law made by the Union prevails over the State for concurrent matters, the State, by acquiring assent from the President can override Union laws.
