Answer: A linear equation will be of the form -

a1x+b1y+c1 =0 and a2x+b2y+c=0

The condition for no solution will be when the lines made by these equations are parallel on the graph.

So the condition for parallel is-

a1/a2= b1/b2 is not equal to c1/c2
