Condition of farmers due to land revenue policy:
- The land revenue policy has been implemented by the British rule.
- By covering the vast land in India, it is not possible to administrate the entire nation with limited amount of rulers.
- So they started to collect the revenue from the Zamindar, Land owners and farmers.
- This then implemented in to all the region of the nation as a British Rule which has the three main divisions as Permanent, Ryotwari, Mahalwari settlement.
- This policy made the farmers poor as most of their earnings were taken by the British government in the form of revenue.
- They become poor and started to strive for their well being.
