Answer:-

Work said to be done only when the object changes its position for example when we take a stone and through it a few centimetres away it will be said that we are doing a work while a Pulley lifting up the object and moving from one place to another will not be said to be work done because there is no movement of the object .

Conditions for the work done by the force is zero

  1. When there is no displacement it will be said that there is no force applied .
  2. When the acceleration due to gravity is zero .
  3. When the displacement is nonual to the direction of the force .

Answer:

Question :-

Conditions for the work done by a force to be

zero ?

Answer :-

Work done on an object by a force would be zero if the displacement of the object is zero.

Learn More :-

According to science two conditions are needed to be satisfied for the work to be done.

  • A force should act on an object.
  • The object should be displaced.

What do you mean by force ?

Work done on an object is defined as the magnitude of the force multiplied by the distance moved by the object in the direction of applied force.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀OR

We define work to be equal to the product of force and displacement over which the force is applied.

Formula for Work done :-

  \sf \purple{work \: done \:  =  \:  \frac{force}{displacement} }
