Answer:-

Common diseases:

\longmapsto dysentery

\longmapsto viral fever

\longmapsto jaundice.

Preventive measures are:

\Longrightarrow Maintaining the neighbourhood clean, i.e., removal of garbage and storing it in covered place till it is disposed off.

\Longrightarrow Filling up of the potholes and ditches, where water stagnates and creates a breeding place for mosquitoes.

\Longrightarrow Timely spray of chemicals in the surroundings to kill mosquitoes.

\Longrightarrow  Provision of safe drinking water.

\Longrightarrow Arrangement of social programmes to educate people about prevention of diseases.
