conduct a survey of about 20 households in your village or city or the locality where you live in try to find out the sex ratio in three broad age groups the survey can be conducted in the following format ?

This is a research done in 20 households in Dandora estate within Nairobi and the result are as follows;

1.Within the infant age groups ,there are more female babies than the male infants.

This is equivalent to a ratio of 2:1 for female infants to male infants.

2. Among the youth group ,there are same sex ratio as the number of males and females are slightly the same thus lead to a ratio of 1:1.

3. Among the elderly people ,there are more elderly women than elderly men .

This can be expressed in a ratio of 3:1 ,that is a ratio of elderly women to that of elderly men.
