Well You can on mixing of baking soda and vinegar in a small container there would be carbon dioxide production and the result will be an impressive eruption( if mix in large quantity).
Actually baking soda is sodium bicarbonate and vinegar is known as acetic acid . When you mix these two the carbonic acid and sodium acetate is produced in the first step . Then carbonic acid is decomposes to carbon dioxide and water . This reaction is a acid base reaction.The final reaction will be like that
NaHCO3 + HC2H3O2 → NaC2H3O2 + H20 + CO2
