Explanation:
- take 2 potted healthy plant and keep them in a air tight bell jar
- take potassium hydroxide (KOH) in a watch glass and put the watch glass in one of the jars.
- leave the plants for about 2-3 days.
- u will observe the plant in KOH is present is not healthy comparatively to the plant the has no KOH in it.
- This because carbon-dioxide has high affinity towards carbon.therefore we can say carbon-dioxide is useful for photosynthesis.
NOTE:
this experiment is also known a bell jar experiment .
