Explanation:

  • take 2 potted healthy plant and keep them in a air tight bell jar
  • take potassium hydroxide (KOH) in a watch glass and put the watch glass in one of the jars.
  • leave the plants for about 2-3 days.
  • u will observe the plant in KOH is present is not healthy comparatively to the plant the has no KOH in it.
  • This because carbon-dioxide has high affinity towards carbon.therefore we can say carbon-dioxide is useful for photosynthesis.                                                                                  

NOTE:

this experiment is also known a bell jar experiment .
