when we describe elements in two different forms they are described as metals and nonmetals

metals are generally good conductors of heat and electricity

non metals are generally bad conductors are good insulators of heat and electricity

Explanation:

Metal is used to make wires because of the good conduction properties of electricity. It has a minimum loss of energy when the electricity is passed through the good conductor. Metals are ductile and malleable which is drawn into thin without breaking.
