Since vacuum is an empty space devoid of any material or particles notransfer of energy can take place , hence conduction. Hence, there cannot be heat transfer through conduction in vacuum. Instead, the heat transfer is possible through radiation only in the case of transfer of heat through vacuum. Hope it helps.

Conduction is the process that requires the material medium for transfer of energy.

By material medium energy can be transferred from particle to particle only.

Since, vacuum is the empty place which devoid of any material or particles,so no transfer of heat can take place.

And hence, conduction does not occur in vacuum.
