Conduction of electricity by bases is due to their ionization of OH ions and not H ions. Why??

Yes because a base like NaOH, KOH

and Ca(OH)2 when dissolved in water

Dissociates into ions

For example NaOH dissociates into Na+ and OH-

So it shows that OH ions are present in the bases and are responsible for the conduction of electricity mark it as brain list

because bases furnishes oh ions not h+ ions when dissolved in water. they don't furnish h+ ions means that  h+ ions are not present in it to conduct electricity.
