conduction of heat is not possible through gases. Explain using kinetic molecular theory.

We know, in gases the molecules are very loosely packed.The separation between the particles in gases are very large as compared to their size.
As a result their is no attractive repulsive forces between the molecules.
Therefore, they cannot transfer heat and the conduction is not possible by gases.
