FINAL ANSWER:

volume of cone is 100 cm³

GIVEN:

radius r =5cm

CSA= \frac{1430}{7} cm²

TO FIND:

to find the volume of cone

FORMULA USED:

CSA= π×r×l

V=\frac{1}{3}×r²×h

l²=h²+r²

SOLUTION:

first to find l , we use

CSA= π×r×l

\frac{1430}{7}=\frac{22}{7}×5×l

l = \frac{1430*7}{7*22*5}

l = 13 cm

l²=h²+r²

13²=h²+5²

169=h²+25

h²=169-25

h²=144

h =√144

h = 12 cm

∴ V=\frac{1}{3}×r²×h

V=\frac{1}{3}×5×5×12

V=\frac{300}{3}

V=100 cm³
