Congenital diseases are present since the time of birth . For example:- AIDS
Acquired diseases are acquired in the later stages . For example:- Malaria

Acquired diseases: The disorder that is not present at birth, but is developed by an individual in response to the environment and not subject to hereditary transmission. Eg. diabetes
