Coniferous trees like pine and deodar flourish in snowy regions like Kashmir. However, in the deserts of Rajasthan, plants like cactus and acacia (babhul) are to be found. The camel, a deser animal, is not found in Kashmir. What is the reason for these differences?

coniferous trees like pine and deodar flourish in snowy regions so that the snow does not block there. Plants like cactuses are to be found in the desert regions as they are adapted to extremely hot conditions (xerophytic plants). A camel is not found in Kashmir whereas it is found the desert region as it adapted to extremely hot climatic conditions and can survive till like seven days without drinking water
