Combination of parallel resistors can be calculated as below,
1/R =1/r1 + 1/r2 +….. + 1/rn
Where r1, r2 are the resistors which are connected in parallel,
So according to above formula
We have,
Req=30*60/90 = 20.
Hope it is helpful.

To get the maximum value connect them in series where the resistance is added
Req=60+30=90ohms
If they are connected in parallel, then
Req=(60*30)/(60+30)
Req=20ohms
If you combining of o resistance in parallel
30×60/90=20 ohm
In series combination
30+60= 90 ohm
