Environment degradation is not restricted to the nation or state boundaries. It's consequences have been felt in the surrounding states and neighboring countries and sometimes globally.

1. Pollution in one country may affect the other in the form of acid rain, climate change etc.

2. Deforestation in some countries may disturb the rainfall pattern in the surrounding countries.

3. Land degradation and dam burst can bring massive siltation and flood like situation.
