There are many ways to protect and conserve flora and fauna. Let me point out a few:

Take part in wildlife conservation organisations. It is always better to work hand in hand with other individuals who have the same goal as you. You'll be able to work on your goal more thoroughly and make better results altogether. However, take in mind that every wildlife preservation organisation has its own specific goal. Choose the one with a goal that matches yours.

Get flora, fauna and biodiversity surveys/assessments for your site especially when you're about to commence a new construction project or development. These will help you identify the species that reside in the vicinity of your site as well as the impacts of any human activity on them. An experienced ecologist will be able to help you out!

As much as possible, avoid using pesticides or fertilisers that contain chemicals.

You can donate to wildlife charities. Rest assured your money will be put to good use.

Plant more native plants around your area. This will help preserve the natural habitat of nearby animals.
Flora and fauna are the plant and animal life of a region in a period of time. That may sound simple, but the ecosystem created by the interdependence of these two life forms is not simple at all. In fact, humans cannot breathe unless both flora and fauna survive and thrive on the earth.

The very air we breathe and the food we eat, the medicines that cure us, and the water that keeps us alive would not exist were it not for flora and fauna. All things in an ecosystem are interdependent. The existence of one species may depend on the health of another, such as the relationship of bamboo forests to pandas. Pandas only eat bamboo shoots, so the destruction of the bamboo forests in China resulted in the endangerment of the Panda, due to starvation and loss of habitat.
Local flora and fauna in many countries of the world have been declined to a large extent. Many of them have already become extinct and a large proportion of them have become endangered and are on the verge of vanishing. Why is this happening? Well, there are several reasons that contribute to this plight of biodiversity;and  some of these factors that account for this situation are global warming , green-effect effect, logging activities, deforestation ,and if collectively speaking, human activities are the major causes that are impacting our environment and these species are becoming the victims of the consequences. The solutions are not very easy to implement; however, can palliate this concern to some degree. Let’s  examine the practicability of some of the actions that can be taken.

Firstly, it is impossible to conserve the endangered species if we keep living in an inconsiderate society. Thus onus is on individuals to understand their responsibilities towards the wildlife. We must have to understand if we did not take initiative to protect these plants or animals , we would disrupt the circle of life. As a consequence, the environment might become barely possible to survive. Thus such activities which are adversely affecting to the wildlife should be reduced . Individuals can make other people aware of the results of deforestation , emission of a huge amount of carbon footprint and the like by word of mouth , sending emails , arranging anti-deforestation or anti-logging campaigns etc. Therefore, this step can effectively help animals or plant to survive.
