Consider a batch reactor test for contaminant degradation for the duration of 48 hours. The volume of reactor is 10 m3. The initial and final concentrations are 9.6 mg/l and 0.2 mg/l respectively. If only water, contamination and contaminant degrading bacteria are present in the reactor and rate of degradation follows 2nd order kinetics with respect to the contaminant then what is the rate constant (in m3/g/day) for this case.
