Draw F.B.D of car -

Car is moving with constant velocity

Therefore force along the motion is zero and there is only friction force acting on car

fmax = - ukmg = -0.5 x 10 x m = - 5m

-5m = ma

a = - 5/s^2

v^2 = u^2 +2as

0 - 10000 = -10s

S = 1000m

The distance at which car stopped is 1km.
