When we have a combustion reaction then the heat of combustion is calculated by subtracting the standard heat of formation of product involved in reaction from the standard heat of formation of reactants involved in the reaction. You have written correctly only the sign of standard i.e., node (0) is not mentioned. Also don't forget to multiply the standard heat of formation with the number of moles correctly. For example, the combustion of ethane is represented as follows:
C2H6 + 7 / 2O2 → 2CO2 + 3H2O
∆Hc = 2∆Hf0(CO2) + 3∆Hf0(H2O) - ∆Hf0(C2H6) - ∆Hf0(O2)
∆Hc = 2∆Hf0(CO2) + 3∆Hf0(H2O) - ∆Hf0(C2H6) (As ∆Hf0(O2) is zero).
