Consider a particle starting from origin with initial speed of 3 m/s . The function of acceleration in terms of velocity is given as a=-3v . What is the relation between a and x( displacement) ??

Given the acceleration function we can get the velocity function.

We get this by integration :

V = - 3/2V²

Displacement = - 3/2 × 1/3 V³ = - V³ / 2

We get displacement by integrating the acceleration function twice.
